Discover the craft of making your own books In this half-day class, you learn how to make a simple thread sewn notebook and also learn the art of Japanese stab binding. You end our session with an A6 notebook and an A5 stab bound booklet to take home: something for you to enjoy using yourself or a perfect gift!
All tools and materials are provided.
Discover more about what you will learn In a relaxed, informal group of no more than six people, we start by learning some of the basics of bookmaking. You also have an introduction to the tools we will be using.
Matt will then guide you through the process of creating both of our notebooks. We will take this slowly, step by step. You will be impressed at what you produce.
Finally, you learn a little more about where you can take your book making next and we will celebrate what we have created!
