The team at The White Horse Inn is excited to share that they will host a series of community dog walks, with the first in aid of Leash of Life.
Kicking off with the first walk on Saturday 5th April 2025, the pub wants to bring together local dog walkers for a fun, social outing within one of Wiltshire’s areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) for a morning of fresh air, exercise, and local knowledge of the area - all for a fantastic cause!
Each walking group will meet at 9.30am at The White Horse Inn to kick-start the outing with homemade bacon baps and a hot drink for a suggested donation of £5, or more, with the proceeds going to the dog rescue charity, Leash of Life.
The dog walk will leave the pub at 10am for a four-mile excursion around the stunning countryside surrounding Compton Bassett, back in time for 12pm should walkers like to stay for a spot of lunch – dogs welcome too, of course!
This is a lovely opportunity to get out and about with the dogs and give back to a fantastic charity in the process.
