Spoonie Rave is a multisensory feast for tired and sensitive folks A party for soft heads and big hearts
Expect puppetry, music and performance in the Fyfe hall at Trinity Centre, with space to rest, engage comfortably and an opportunity to slow down and take things at your own pace.
Alongside live performances we’ll have puppet making, creative games and non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks in the bar. There will be a library and a dedicated space to chill, and an atmosphere that encourages and supports slowness.
This is a relaxed event, you’re welcome to engage in whatever manner works for you; come in and out of performances as you wish, stand, sit, lie down, stim, be still, move and rest in whatever way feels good for you.
Masks are required at Spoonie Rave, to protect each other from COVID-19, flu and colds that so easily spread and can greatly affect our spoonie kin. While the world turns its back on safety protocols, let’s protect each other like the spoonie punks we are.
