With two thousand years of history and a host of strikingly-designed streets and buildings, Bath is a rich treasure trove for curious minds. This fun and informative guided walking tour by Fred Mawer Tours (www.fredmawertours.co.uk) will give a flavour of how that is the case.

The tour is designed to entertain and enlighten those who believe they know Bath pretty well, as well as anyone less familiar with the city. You will hear a multitude of intriguing and not-so-obvious nuggets about Bath, and be shown a host of often quirky visual details – think easily-overlooked signs, statues, plaques, coats of arms, and even an unusual telephone box and post box!

Added into the mix will be quick-fire references to everything ranging from literary figures, TV shows and films to food with Bath links. The tour will end with a prize for the most curious-minded guest!

Tours will be led by Phil Arthur and Fred Mawer, who are professional Blue Badge-qualified tour guides specialising in Bath. The Blue Badge is the UK’s top guiding qualification.

This tour is suitable for wheelchair users.
