George Maund: Plastic Flowers

21 Mar - 26 Apr @ Serchia Gallery [ Art & Design ]

George Maund: Plastic Flowers
Maund’s most recent project 'Plastic Flowers’, explores his relationship to the construction and performance of forms of masculinity, through intimate portraits of influential male figures in his life, as well as objects and scenes of masculine contention. The work explores themes of restriction, vulnerability and performativity through the use of staged imagery involving  close friends and family, depicting scenes and spaces in which ideas of masculinity are questioned and reimagined.
