Rockaway Park is thrilled to host another exhibition in our new gallery space, next to the Chapel of Unrest, with amazing local artist, Simon Wildgoose.
Simon merges print – coloured, newsprint or both – with acrylic paint, creating a fluid synthesis of texture and form. Influenced by Roberts Motherwell and Rauschenberg, Simon’s output has never been consistent - it has always been dictated by mood.
A philosophy graduate who has always been passionate about art (practically and historically), Simon’s recent principle interest has been abstract expressionism. His process is organic and spontaneous, allowing the materials to unify in unexpected and dynamic ways. So, pop into the gallery at Rockaway to enjoy another stunning collection of work!
