The Rockaway Christmas market is always a wonderful family afternoon featuring some incredible festive vegan roasts, open studios, a bit of music and the lovely Sarah Lewis and Tracey Calvert from Normal Magic, offering free mental health advice (anonymous and off-grid.) We also have a fantastic array of arts market traders, makers and craftspeople lined up if you want to pick up some Christmas gifts. This event is free to attend, but you'll need to book and pay for your festive roast in advance via the Vegan Café webpage to help us avoid food waste.
Our festive roasts are served with mixed roasties, braised Brussel sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing and gravy!
The options are:
Stuffed Seitan Roast - This delicious loaf is filled with butternut squash, cranberries and kale.
Luxury Festive Nut & Lentil Roast - Made with nuts, red lentils, veggies and mushrooms. Plus pigs in blankets made with gluten-free sausages wrapped in an aubergine slice.
(GF) Gluten Free Holiday Roast - Made from chickpeas and tofu, and filled with roasted vegetables, with a sweet and sticky glaze. Plus pigs in blankets made with gluten-free sausages wrapped in an aubergine slice.
(GF & nut free). Stuffed Butternut Squash - Featuring a festive filling that includes rice, chestnuts, dried fruit and winter spices.
(GF) Artichoke & Wild Mushroom Strudel - A luxury strudel filled with mushrooms, artichokes, tofu, nuts, cranberry sauce and tangerines, wrapped in filo pastry.
Costs are £15 for adults & £9 for children.
