Candlelit Gong Bath Sound Journey

2 Feb, 7:30 - 9pm @ New Oriel Hall [ Health & Wellbeing ]

Candlelit Gong Bath Sound Journey
Join Amy of Rise Rooted Wellbeing for an evening of deep relaxation as you immersive yourself in the healing powers of a candlelit gong and sound bath.

During these sound baths, Amy uses a variety of instruments including a 32" Symphonic Gong, a hand-held Chinese wind gong, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, a shruti box and voice mantra. All you need to do is lie down, relax and allow the sound waves to move through you.

As the resonance of the gong blossoms into a ‘sound envelope’ around you, it allows you to enter a theta brainwave state and access the subconscious similar to that experienced in deep meditation. The vibrations of the gong work at a cellular level to release stagnant energy and rebalance the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.

Please bring anything you need to be comfortable; a mat to lay on, a blanket, pillow and eye covering are recommended. No experience of sound baths or meditation is necessary.

Please note: this session is not suitable for anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy or anyone with a pacemaker fitted due to the strong vibrations.
