All of the items sourced for Hidden are made by UK based designers, makers and creators. I am drawn to natural fibres and materials, textures and patterns which form the base of the store. I believe in mindful gifting - choosing items with craft and longevity that will be loved, cherished and handed down amongst families for years. Objects that are loved develop their own soul.
In turning the back room into the workshop & event space is to allow people to nourish their own individual creativity and to provide a sense of community, particularly after such a tumultuous and isolating couple of years. I’m looking forward to teaming up with local creatives, thinkers and makers to provide a series of different workshops and events; from soft play to quilting, modern caligraphy, homeware/clothing swaps and candle painting - this is a space for well-being in the fullest sense of the word.
