As part of Hauser & Wirth Somerset’s ‘GRUPPENAUSSTELLUNG’ exhibition, the gallery has transformed into an evening Filmhaus.
Full-length feature films are being screened for free every fortnight on Friday evenings between September and December 2023 to shine a light on cinema as a nurturing cultural space for creation and experimentation. Spanning a range of recent releases, artist-led productions and documentary films, new films will be announced each month, with additional family viewing times over October half-term and the Christmas holidays.
Tickets are free, however we welcome donations to our 2023 – 2024 charity partner, Bruton Community Library. All are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult and the recommended film ratings must be followed.
Roth Bar & Grill will be open from 5 pm, offering a pre-cinema dinner and drinks menu. Complimentary popcorn and selected drinks will be available to take into the gallery. The gallery will be open from 6.30 pm with the film screenings starting at 7 pm. Please note, there will be no admittance after 7 pm.
