Matt Williamson, will be joining us to serve a selection of Field Doctor's award winning meals for you to sample, and will discuss overcoming the restrictions of preparing meals for many different dietary needs. Matt will be joined by members of the team including Martin Dewey, Field Doctor co founder, who be talking about the company's aims, ethos and plans for the future.
Field Doctor launched the UK's first low FODMAP, Monash certified ready meal range for IBS sufferers to great critical acclaim and have since launched a range based on the principles of the Mediterranean diet, a range for cognitive health, Lean and lighter (low cal, high protein) meals and breakfast and cake options as well as dairy, vegan and coeliac safe options. The company prioritise gut health and a typical meal includes around 13 different plant types with a minimum of 160g veg in each meal for maximum nutrition and a more diverse gut microbiome.
Field Doctor offer dietitian consultations via their website and a free resource hub. They have recently started working with NHS trusts providing Field Doctor meals in hospitals to support staff and received a grant to develop a range of meals to be used in clinical trials for people in remission with breast cancer.
