Introducing... Straight Outta Canton! With a passion for cooking over fire, Straight Outta Canton brings you traditional Punjabi flavours accompanied with traditional French cooking and barbecuing techniques. 'We're a married couple with Punjabi roots from Cwmbran and Bristol who’ve come together through the love of food. Ajay has a distinction in culinary arts from Ashburton Cookery School and is the creative genius behind some of our customer favourites, and Lowri is an experienced project and events manager who keeps our diary jam packed! We lived in Canton, Cardiff, where the idea for the business was born in 2021! Since, we have grown and secured our bespoke trailer and we are super excited to see how more recipes from our Mother’s kitchen’s translate into our interpretation of street food, with our unique take on incorporating live fire into every dish.' We're super excited for their debut in the Taproom. Tunes are kicking off from 3PM, featuring a wide mix of Soul, HipHop, House and Breaks. Embo and Mr Toad both come from the well acclaimed Dj group, 'Bath Beats Collective', who host a number of live music events around the city of Bath. They're no strangers to a night at the Taproom and we're hyped that they're returning and spinning tracks all afternoon to accompany your tasty food and delicious beer.
