The workshop will cover: What is a ‘pest’? How to identify ‘pests’ and diseases, methods for natural prevention of pests and diseases (including those you can make at home with common garden plants), and companion planting
What to bring: Please bring Warm/waterproof clothing, and sturdy boots as we may take a walk to look at growing areas across the farm. The farm’s café will be open for lunch, or if you do not wish to use the café, please bring a packed lunch.
Facilities: When at the farm you’ll have access to our meeting room in the wooden cabin and there will be tea/coffee breaks throughout the day.
